At Ramirez Family Child Care in Oxnard, we offer a nurturing, play-based program inspired by Reggio Emilia principles for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Our days are built around hands-on exploration, creative play, and activities that support each child’s natural development and curiosity. We provide healthy meals, assist with potty training, and welcome children with varying needs. With hours from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM, we support working families with flexible full-time and part-time options. We also offer transportation to help make daily routines easier. Our small group size allows us to give each child individualized attention as they grow, learn, and reach important milestones at their own pace.
Ramirez Family Child Care is located in a cozy single-family home in Oxnard, creating a comfortable and familiar setting for young children. Our space is designed to feel safe and welcoming, helping children transition between home and care. We have areas for play, rest, and learning, all tailored to support different ages and stages. The home includes a small, friendly dog, giving children the chance to learn gentle interactions with pets. We maintain a secure environment with no bodies of water or weapons on site. Families in the Oxnard area appreciate our convenient location and the warm, home-like atmosphere where children can feel relaxed, confident, and ready to learn.
We are a dedicated home-based childcare team with a strong focus on safety, learning, and responsive care. With an associate degree and training in early childhood education, along with CPR and First Aid certification, we bring both knowledge and attentiveness to our daily work with children. We have experience caring for infants through preschoolers and create a calm, supportive environment where children feel comfortable exploring and learning. As a Spanish-speaking provider, we are happy to support bilingual families or introduce children to Spanish in a natural way. Our approach emphasizes patience, encouragement, and building strong, trusting relationships with each child and family.
