St. Anne's Childcare
Program Description
Fort Firefly provides safe, engaging drill weekend care for military-connected families. Children enjoy play, movement, creativity, rest, and meaningful interaction with caring adults and peers.
Philosophy
We believe children are capable, curious learners who grow through relationships, hands-on experiences, and purposeful play. Our care supports the whole child in a warm, responsive environment.
What Makes Us Special
Fort Firefly is built around the realities of military family life. We provide dependable, developmentally appropriate care during drill weekends when traditional child care may not be available.
Staff
Our team brings more than 100 years of combined experience in early childhood education and care. Staff are committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child feels known, supported, and engaged.
Qualifications
Our staff meet required background check, health, safety, CPR, First Aid, and training requirements. Our team also brings extensive hands-on experience supporting children across a range of ages and developmental stages.
Approach
Our approach is warm, responsive, and play-based. Staff build strong relationships with children while encouraging independence, problem-solving, creativity, movement, and social-emotional growth throughout the day.
We're situated off Waldron and Euper near Golden Corral and the fire station.
