For three and a half years I was employed through "Sittercity" as an in-home nanny. I was at home every day and I worked overnight on the weekends and when the parents went on vacation out of the country for the week. This job required me to be in charge of everything that involves the care of the children; children’s laundry, planning meals, preparing food, meal prep, arranging outings, educational activities art crafts, driving the children to school, activities, or playdates, reading to the children, assist with homework such as elementary middle, and high, organizing bedrooms, administering medicine with parents’ consent, (if necessary), heavy housekeeping. I also communicated effectively with both the children and the parents. This job required me to be reliable, trustworthy, and able to discipline the children according to the family’s preferred parenting style. Most importantly I was nurturing, kind, active, creative, and interacted well with all the children.
