I love working with kids let's just start with that. From a very young age I knew I wanted to work with kids. I was very fortunate enough to have some amazing teachers and school staff members from K.-12th who always saw the best in me and pushed me to be the best student I could be and because of those people I have my job now. I started with Palmdale School District as a noon duty and slowly worked up to being a Special Education Instructional Assistant. I then made another move to Antelope Valley Union High School District as a Paraeducator - Severe. I love what I do and feel that working with kids is like a snowflake (not one day is the same). Throughout my years working with kids I've come to realize that what I honestly love doing with kids is talking to them. Getting to know them and what they like. I feel that those moments are very important for a lot of kids and it makes them feel valued. That they have a voice and someone is willing to hear them out. I feel that with what I've learned I could be a valuable person to any child/ren and I know sometimes having those extra spare hands and eyes really helps a lot.
