I am 18 years old and am currently a freshman at Valdosta State University. I am a Communication Sciences & Disorders major, hoping to become a Speech and Language Pathologist. I chose this major because I have always loved working with kids and helping others, but didn't necessarily feel that a job as a teacher would allow me to pursue all of my goals. My love for childcare began at a young age when I was put in charge of watching my younger cousins while our parents went out. I got super lucky and was granted the opportunity to babysit for many family friends over the past year and my favorite part is watching the kid's different personalities develop, even in such a short amount of time!
