Samantha W.
I would describe myself as enthusiastic, creative, and talkative! I love being around people and spending time outdoors.
I'm working towards my degree in Environmental Education with a minor in Earth Sciences (expected to graduate in June from the University of Oregon). I love taking the opportunities to connect people with the outdoors through fun activities and conversations. I've spent time as a counselor at sleep away camp, Camp Winthers in Tahoe National Park, and interned for Adams Elementary School through the program Restoring Connections at the UO. Our goal was to connect K-2nd graders with local ecology.
I have experience caring for up to seven kids for weeks at a time, organizing their schedules and routines, and I am confident teaching interdisciplinary lessons to kiddos that have varying identities and learning disabilities!
