I'm an experienced caregiver with a background in library work. I worked in libraries for several years. Since April 2015, I have been a companion, homemaker, and personal care assistant, either part-time or full-time. I take clients to doctor's appointments, do light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and more.
Currently, I have a job with two boys. One just entered kindergarten and the other one just started sixth grade. I meet them at the bus stop and prepare snacks and dinner for them. In addition, I help them with their homework and assist with structuring their activities.
I was a Circulation desk Supervisor and a Technical Assistant at a law library for many years. I trained and assisted student workers at the circulation desk. I was told that I facilitated a very easy learning environment. Also, that I am encouraging and people felt at ease to ask me as many questions as they wanted.
B.S. degree from Southern Connecticut State University. Liberal Studies with three minors: Library Science, Psychology, and Sociology.
