Mina D.
I’ve been a nanny for 4 years. I started heist helping out my mom as she used to be a nanny too. I have had many great experiences and had the opportunity to take care of many amazing kids, different ages, ethnicity, and languages. I loved learning about them and helping them learn. I have always been passionate by teaching. After 3 years the mother of one of the little girls I used to take care of since she was 3 month called me. She said that she wanted me to start teaching her preschool at my home and in Spanish since she was anyways going to learn English in a physical school when she grew older. I was so excited, that was the first time I taught children and I loved it. I believe being a nanny is not only about taking care of children (although that of course is the most important part) but also about helping them grow, teaching them, aiding them in their struggles, training them. I was raised in Cuba, with many little kids around me, I was always the “mom” of the group, it made me happy to feel that responsibility of having to care for other children. Now I still have that passion. I want to help families who need it.
