Penny G.
In my previous role, I worked in child care for two years, I provided practical support for children with various disabilities, assisting them with learning activities and helping them navigate social and emotional situations. I managed tasks related to their accommodations, facilitating their adjustment to challenging environments. Additionally, I have six years of babysitting experience, for all ages which has further honed my skills in caring for children.
I excel in building trusting relationships with both children and their parents. I approach each child with empathy and patience, creating a supportive environment where they feel safe to express themselves. I tailor my interactions to meet individual needs, whether that involves providing extra assistance during learning activities or simply being a comforting presence in social situations.
Open communication with parents is a priority for me. I keep them informed about their child’s progress and any challenges that arise. By collaborating with families, I ensure we’re all on the same page in supporting the child’s development. My genuine care for kids drives me to foster their growth, happiness, and well-being in every interaction, now that I'm in college need to find a new job that I love and continue to work with kids.
