Avariella P.
I started babysitting when I was just 14 years old and have never stopped working with kids of all ages. I have Nanny and four families with up to five or six children including several in one family under the age of five. I am very active and artistic. I like to get kids engaged in their environment including the outdoors. I love to cook and bake and if their children are old enough I love to teach them. I also have a lot of experience in working with children with challenging behaviors or with trauma histories. I have extensive history working as a pet care provider as well so I can always help with that. I love to clean and organize so basically you name it and I can help you with it! I am typically always available during the hours I have listed as my available hours and my weekends are basically always open. No criminal history and I can always provide references if needed. I also have worked at a daycare in the past. For the last seven years I have worked with children professionally ages 5 to 19. I am great at multitasking and handling any kind of stress because I’ve had extremely stressful jobs all of my life. Lastly I am about to complete my masters which I have taken several courses in child development through and I’ve worked for Dcf for five years and had to assess developmental milestones for children so I have no problem providing developmental support as well.
I completed my bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in anthropology in 2014. I am about to finish my masters in clinical mental health counseling. I have worked with kids babysitting and in many of my professional job experiences since I was 14 years old. I am trained to work with kids who have difficult behaviors, trauma histories, developmental delays and more. I have countless trainings in childcare and I specialize in child development. I have about four years of providing parent psychoeducation on child development.
