I have been a babysitter for over 5 years. I also was a dancer and gymnastics instructor for kids ages 2-16 for all 4 years of high school and taught 40-60 kids every year. I have babysat and taught kids with special needs. I always aim to create a safe and comfortable environment for kids to learn, grow, and be authentically themselves. I am currently a second-year nursing student at Case Western Reserve University, and I have working experience on multiple patient floors, where I strengthened my communication skills when working with hospital workers and patients, I performed bed changes and bed bath routines, and learned how to be sharp and quick-witted to adjust to the fast-paced environment. Many find this job to be hard, but I enjoy spending time with kids and getting to know so many personalities at once. I would love to continue working with kids, as I find it to be rewarding and fulfilling. My dream job is to be a pediatrics nurse and continue to care for kids.
