Hi! My name is Evelyn, and I’m a newly graduated registered nurse with hands-on experience in pediatric care and a genuine passion for working with children. Through my nursing education, I’ve developed a strong foundation in child development, safety, and how to respond calmly and confidently in a variety of situations.
I bring a diverse background working with kids across different settings. I’ve worked as a substitute teacher and a paraprofessional, which has strengthened my ability to support children with different learning styles, manage group environments, and create a structured, positive space. I’ve also worked as an in-home RBT, where I provided one-on-one support and built strong, patient-centered connections with children and their families.
In addition, I’ve volunteered at elementary school health fairs, promoting wellness and helping children feel comfortable in health-related settings. I also have personal babysitting experience caring for a 2- and 4-year-old while balancing my school responsibilities, which taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a fun, safe environment.
