I started working with kids when I was teaching swim lessons at the YMCA. It was a fun environment to watch the children progress through lessons and be more comfortable in the waters. And then I started to work at several daycares to gain experiences with teaching kids the things they need to know to get ready for kindergarten and teach important things like potty training and learning letters and numbers
