Besides being a mom and an auntie to two nieces and a nephew, my most recent experience with children was in tutoring, for third grade students with their reading. The experience was more than rewarding it is memorable in my path to teaching. I believe my God given purpose is working with children and my passion for children are those with negative labels, “their bad kids” or “doesn’t listen in class” these children i seek to know. For me “liking kids”is not enough to say for a job, you have to love the idea of them everyday which I do mentally and actively practicing in my own living room. I don’t have the proof of a degree but i can demonstrate the course.
