I have been around younger kids since I was a freshman in high school. I have been very blessed to be welcomed into many homes to babysit their children, house sit, or watch their pets…etc. My love for working with children began when I became I volunteer at my church in the youth ministry. I have the opportunity to pour into kids’ lives and listen to them while also bettering myself along the way. In high school, I would lead a bible study group of middle school girls every week. I also looked over this group of girls over a weekend retreat and church camp! This sparked my passion for my major choice in college now which is, social work. I hope to be a clinical social worker or a medical social worker in a hospital working with kids and or families.
