As a mama to 6 homeschoolers( began when first daughter was 2), I currently work as an after school teacher, providing care and support primarily to ages 5-6, while extending services to a range of 4-11 years olds.
I have previously operated my own home daycare, providing care to and for 0-10/11 year olds, mostly infants and toddlers, where I implemented my own curriculum and fostered an early educational foundation for the children in my care.
I have worked as a lead and assistant teacher within licensed care facilities primarily for infant and toddler groups, and have been hired as curriculum and tutor support for children 3-13 years old.
Additionally, I have worked with differently abled children (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Neurodivergent, Anxiety, ADD/ADHD, and Dyslexia). I have completed some ABA therapy coursework and have certifications regarding ABA, as well as other skills developed and needed as a care provider.
I currently possess a successfully passed portable background check with DCYF ( Department of Children Youth and Families), as well as CPR and First Aid. Every quarter I take a class or two to enhance my knowledge and improve my abilities as a a care provider. I am extremely open to sharing with you all upon request.
