Potty training

My son has been at the same daycare since 2 years old. He's almost 4, and potty training has been difficult for me. I'll start training at home and see progress at home. But is back in diapers when he goes to daycare, I don't seem to get much help from the daycare even though they say they do provide potty training, but I don't see it happening although I have told them before he is already training at home, I love my daycare provider and so does my child but potty training has become an issue. Should I change him to another daycare because of this? I don't know what to do

express your concerns to the director or the one who runs your child's class. let them know that this is a transition that you really need help with and that you would like for them to start a potty training chart for your child. look into their program on how they do their potty training and if they don't have a set schedule for potty training let them know that you're very serious on getting him trained and you would appreciate all the help they can't provide. just a friendly reminder for him to go potty is simple for any child care setting or setting a Time for him to go potty everyday will help as well, if you have to express your concerns in writing do that as well that way they will know that you are very serious about this situation and that it takes a village for our little ones to grow learn and be a productive young adult. if none of these things work let them know that you are considering switching him to another center to get the help you need but do it in a way of love. Thank you for this reply, I really love the daycare and my child has learned a lot, but I just don't know how to handle the potty training issue so thank you so much for your advice 0 Likes
