Are used car seats safe for my child?

I have two kids and I’m expecting again! We used a hand-me-down car seat with my second child and, after using it for about six months, I realized that it had expired before we even began using it! Anyway, I’m looking for a good quality car seat for the new baby that is also affordable. Any advice on this? What are your opinions on purchasing a second-hand one?

Stores like Target often have trade-in events! You can get a good discount toward a new car seat when you trade in one of your old ones. Great way to save money and still get a good car seat for your little one. 1 Like
