Hello I have a 19month old son who is starting daycare for the very first time. This is the second at home daycare provider who says they can no longer accommodate him because he screams(high pitch) and cries all day. He does not want to play with toys or any other kids, just sits there and cries and screams.
The First Lady only had him for one day and says he’s spoiled and wants to do his own thing.
The Second Lady only had him part time for a total of 8 days before she gave up and also said that he’s spoiled…
When I go to pick him up he’s not even crying just screaming and as soon as he sees me, he stops and smiles because he’s happy to see me… you would thing he had an amazing day with that smile😁.
He’s such a fun and loving toddler at home and loves to play and doesn’t act like this on a daily when he’s around his familiar faces.
I’m going to try a public daycare this time, would that be a better option? Did I wait to start him in daycare too late? Any suggestions to help ease his transition?
