I completed a mentorship program in highschool at our local Elementary School which involved group play, classroom projects, homework/class work, ect. I also worked at a daycare center while in highschool where I got my classroom ready for breakfast, lunch and snack times, in and out for recess, down for naps, coordinated learning activities, and maintained a respectful and happy classroom. I also worked at a Pediatric Dental Office which broadened my horizons to larger age ranges, children with abilities, children who thrived with behavior management, and ones who taught me things!
I love to learn and explore with kids. Museums, nature walks, libraries will always strike my interest and I love watching young individuals learn and grow. I currently live with my sister, brother inlaw and 8 month nephew, who I adore more than life. I love watching him grow and learn new things from us daily. My hobbies include baking, hunting, fishing, riding horse, snowmobiling, riding four wheeler, exploring, and learning new things and including my nephew and younger siblings in those activities makes things so much more memorable.
