Profile Although I have no formal child care experience, I am the older sister of two younger step-siblings (16 and 14). I have been in their lives for the past 8 years and have been in a caretaking position. While growing up I aided in making their lunches, homework help, transportation to and from school, and extracurricular activities. My siblings and I both come from homes that have experienced divorce so I have also been assisting them by providing tools that I learned during my childhood while grappling with the constant back and forth between homes and parenting styles. It is, for this reason, I have put an emphasis on developmental psychology in my collegiate studies, to further my understanding of the young mind.
