Hi, my name is Summer! I have 8 years of professional childcare experience. I have a brother 10 years younger than me, whom I helped raise. My brother made a large impact on me and showed me from a young age how to care for children.
I went on to babysit for some neighboring families at the age of 13 and did light babysitting for years until beginning college in 2022. I completed 2 years at UW-Stout, majoring in Early Childhood Education. During my time at college I learned many more important skills such as calming strategies, how to incorporate learning into daily activities, and how children's minds work. I spent 3 full semesters working with the 0-12-month-olds, 2-year-olds, and 5-year-olds in a close proximity classroom.
I am able to complete light housework such as dishes, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning up after the children. I am also able to make meals and snacks to keep your children energized. I am a caring and fun caretaker and would love to care for your children!
