I am not sure why, but the Upwards system won't let me fix my profile, so it says I am a nanny when in reality I am a babysitter! I am a student at Eastern Arizona College, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Musical Education! Once I get my degree in that, I plan to get an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or special education before moving on to a university. I come from a family of eight kids, and I'm right in the middle! I have a very large extended family, with around 90-100 direct cousins. Because of this, I've had plenty of experience with children of all ages and backgrounds. Often, both my parents were away, and so I was left to help out with my younger siblings for hours or, on occasion, days. I also babysat my cousins and some friends children when they needed. Because of this, I have much experience in watching over children while completing household chores, cooking, or helping one child with homework. I love to spend time around the younger generation! I learn so much from them and become a better person every moment I spend with them. I truly believe that as we provide an example for the younger generation and give them gentle and firm guidance, we can make the world a better place! When it comes to the children, example is the best teacher. I am centered on values such as kindness, patience, gentleness, integrity, and honesty. I always promote these values just as much as I strive to live them. I am also very flexible and can adapt to calm or chaotic environments, keeping a calm and level head in either no matter the circumstance. I've been trained in CPR and basic first aid, and I have many nurses in my family who teach me new things daily! For these reasons, I will be a great match for any parents in need of a babysitter!
