I want to be a nanny because Interacting with children on a daily basis brings so much joy to my life. It’s also Fun! It’s fascinating the imaginations children have and getting to play and teach them is something I really enjoy. The relationship built between both the children and their parents, that in itself is it’s own reward. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because of the bond I share with each child I have ever cared for. The children rely on me and trust me and that definitely makes me feel special. Also I like the flexibility that comes along with a nanny position. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 8 years and can honestly say I Love what I do! My goal as a Nanny is to provide a safe, fun, and educational environment for your child/children. Also build a strong trusting relationship with the family. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes Dishes, laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning up after the children. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am Warm hearted, patient, reliable, friendly, and creative. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include Trips to the library, park, walks, reading books, singing songs, lots of outdoor play time. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be friendly, welcoming, and fun loving.
