First I would like to let you know that I have a heartfelt understanding on how hard it must be to leave your child/children with a provider that you do not know. I have many references to ease your mind. My childcare career started when I created/owned a daycare business that was extremely successful for 13 yrs. Presently I am a nanny for two wonderful families, caring for twins since 2 mons and another child since 4 mons (3 infants at one time) I do this with ease and extremely love it. Previously, I held 2 other nanny positions caring for 1 yr olds. Provided date nights, overnight/weekend and travel care. Loved, guided and taught 6 full time children, newborn to 6, and before and after school children. Enjoyed working with special needs children. Created&implemented curriculum for children ages 6 and under. Understanding that play promotes curiosity, discovery, and problem-solving which helps develop a positive self-image. Curriculum was based according to children's needs/interests, individually and as a group, with preparation for kindergarten readiness in mind. Prided myself in developing a great rapport with families. I look forward to the next steps.
