Nanny in
Fresno, CA
I have been working in child care for over ten years. During this time I have worked as a teacher, researcher, daycare provider, and nanny. I think that how we raise our children deeply impacts all our futures, and how we connect to our community is inherently impactful on how our children grow. I am a nanny, but I am also a specialist who continues to do research in how we can better connect to each other, and how that impacts our kids. As a nanny I try to leave a family better then I left them, and I am never gone for good, I believe in creating a lasting relationship with all the families I work with as a part of their village.
I hope you'll find my experience is a key component to how I raise children, but that I am also always willing to learn new ways of child rearing!
Being a child care provider is not only my mission, but it is a culturally significant part of my life, I am 4th generation child care provider, 3rd generation teacher, the way I raise children is deeply enriched in my cultural identity, I find it makes my practice always kind, always compassionate.
I am in the mists of obtaining my AA, my school's CD department unfortunately closed on my graduation year, to make up for my AA I have ensured my education is up to date by obtaining training with child development programs and theorists such as Latinx parenting, ARE, Indigo parenting, and other community programs. I have my certifications as a postpartum doula, Reggio provider, decolonized care specialist, family and community specialist, play based care provider, and I am a teacher registered with Raza Educators. Additionally I have received all my classes in infant care, decolonized infant care, baby led care, and lastly I have my Emergency TEMP teaching license which I used from 2021-2023.
