I started nannying back in 2021. I would have continued, but moved and also found the family was not the right fit for me. I grew up with 2 younger sisters who I helped with homework, played with constantly and also watched when my parents were not around.
As a nanny I taught the children (7 and 3) Spanish. We had daily Spanish lessons and certain times of the day only spoke in Spanish. We also had lots of fun with arts and crafts.
I had at least 1 arts and crafts project every day for the kids. Usually we would relate it to their homeschool topics for the week. We did an hour of reading daily as well as a minimum of an hour of quiet time. We also did outside activities as long as the weather permitted.
