I have never had the honor to bear the title of nanny, however I am and have been an older sister, babysitter, mentor, camp counselor, coach and the best title given, Mom.
I’ve led an interesting life over my last 30 working years and have found myself circling back to a passion I never greatly explored. I’ve had many years under my belt as a retail manager with a background in the fashion industry.
However, I’m feeling burnt out in my career field and am seeking to explore my other core passions that I never let blossom.
Upon going to college I was torn in my chosen field. Early Childhood education was bidding for my #1 and I ended up choosing Fashion Design and Merchandising. Anyhow, since college I have managed many fashion and non fashion businesses, I’ve been involved in all buying, hiring and the day to day operations. Along with continually working full time I’ve raised two children. They are both A-B students and teenagers! I’ve been a single mom for 6 years now and am looking to enrich the lives of another younger generation. I seem to have a calming nature about myself and am known (by friends) to be a “gem” when it comes to understanding and connecting with children.
