I took childcare in high school and it allowed us to receive certification in different areas involving children. Upon taking this class we also worked as a teacher assistant. We worked with kindergarteners and first grade. I would assist with class work and grading papers.
I also was a nanny for my sister for about 3 or 4 years. I was full time so I got the kids ready for school, put them on the bus, assist with light household duties, homework, dinner, and bedtime. I enjoy working with kids.
