My name is Kaylen! I’m 19 years old and currently and Full-time college student at EKU! I am on my career pathway of becoming a Registered Nurse(R.N). I have switched with living on campus to online classes for my Spring term, which gives me more time and convenience to start back with work in childcare! I have been in childcare for 2 years, along with other part time childcare work during high school!
I absolutely adore kids and find it honestly amazing to have the opportunity to work with them. I feel children can teach you so much rather from creativity to even morals! I also find it quite wonderful to create a bond with kids and to let them understand I am here for anything they may need, even if I’m not at work!
Working in childcare is more than just “babysitting” or a “typical nanny” job, it’s about the connection with both parents and children and making sure your children feel comfortable and safe while in my care!
