Graciela D.
Nanny in Lynn, MA
Hi! I’m Katie, a 32-year-old professional nanny with over 12 years of experience caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-age children. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a wide variety of roles, including long-term nanny positions, nanny shares, overnight care, vacations, short-term placements, and date nights.
I specialize in supporting children with behavioral, emotional regulation, executive functioning, sensory, and neurodevelopmental differences, including ADHD and autism. My approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and rooted in connection, autonomy, and play-based learning. I believe every child is unique, so I tailor activities to their interests, whether that’s singing, dancing, making clay creations, exploring local museums and playgrounds, or spending time outdoors.
I’m passionate about partnering with parents to create consistency across home, school, and daily routines. I enjoy helping families develop practical systems that reduce stress, support emotional regulation, encourage intuitive eating, and foster long-term independence. My goal is to build trusting relationships with both children and caregivers while providing dependable, compassionate support.
I hold a Certificate in Child & Youth Advocacy and an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts (Psychology) from North Shore Community College, and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Social Work at Salem State University. Outside of nannying, I volunteer with the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless and CASA, reflecting my commitment to advocating for children and families both professionally and within the community.
