Over the past three years I have been teaching swim lessons at Arne Hanna Aquatic Center. I teach for 2 hours a day 4 days a week, I love teaching and watching the kiddos grow comfortable in the water. I worked as a babysitter all throughout high school and was a youth soccer coach my first two years in college.
I just completed my bachelors degree from Western in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English literature. During my time at Western I was lucky enough to get to work in both 5th and 6th grade classrooms as a student teacher/mentor.
I am comfortable working with kids of all ages, infant and beyond. I am CPR and first aid trained through the Red Cross, and am water safety trained as well.
Aside from my passion for teaching, reading, and writing, I have hobby's and am always thrilled to try new things. I love swimming, hiking, biking, walking, skiing, and waterskiing! I also love to play guitar, sing, and I enjoy puzzles and crafts!
