I grew up in a home with a mother who babysat children from ages 0-9 throughout most of my childhood and that's where my passion for working with children began.
I was a Lead Teacher in a 2 year old room at Trinity Lutheran Church and School located in Springfield, IL for 1 year. (December 2019-December 2020) I worked with children from ages 2 to 5 during Extended Care hours at the school as well. Apart from teaching, I was responsible for setting up their snacks, changing of diapers and clothing when necessary, potty training and the pick up and drop off of the students.
I also worked at the Stevens Point Area YMCA as a Childcare Assistant (November 2014-May 2015, as well as March 2021-August 2021) for kids from ages 0 to 6 years old. We were responsible for taking care of the children, feeding them and putting them down for naps, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the areas.
I am currently employed as a Headstart Teacher through CAP Services in Stevens Point, WI. I love taking care of kids and assisting their families with anything they need.
My husband and I are currently located in Plover, WI but will be moving to Madison by the end of May.
