I've been raising my 7 year old daughter on my own since she was 6 months old. Throughout that time period I have had the pleasure meeting many friendly people along the way.

When my daughter began Pre K at Bethany Lutheran her and many of her classmates became friends, which led to the parents reaching out to one another to set up play dates etc. After 6 months or so many of the parents and I became friends. This occurred while our children spent countless hours playing with one another.

As the school year was coming to an end I was approached by one of the parents who was struggling to find child care for their two toddlers. I was asked if I personally knew anyone who was able to care for their two little ones during the day. At that moment I didn't know anyone who was willing or capable to assist in providing care. Since I didn't know any one personally that was able to take on such a task, I simply offered to help them out by offering to assist them with child care on designated days / hours.

Since that time I have been welcomed into many homes within the Saginaw township district. My love for children, teaching and caregiving began organically. It all started with the birth of my child 7 years ago as mentioned earlier. That one moment changed my priorities as well as the way I look at life. I realized that I thoroughly enjoyed providing care to families who need it. I have found my passion by helping families in the area nurture and raise their children.
