Ever since I was six years old, I have been taking care of children. I have 4 brothers of my own and have raised all of them since diapers. I’ve been a babysitter for a 5 years, a nanny for 3, and every child I’ve come in contact with has built a personal relationship with me. I was also a live-in nanny for the Merz family in Cameron, NC for a year and most recently the Shurtleff family here in Fayetteville, NC for a year and 4 months who are considered high profile. I have taken care of children from the ages of infancy up to the oldest age of fifteen. I have a clean driving record. I am CPR and First Aid certified for people infancy through adulthood, even for dogs! I am highly proficient in both Spanish and French and minorly proficient in South Korean. I have traveled to Japan, France and South Korea! Being in those countries showed me that there are different ways of interacting with children, getting them to learn, and watching children interact amongst themselves compared to my own relationship with my siblings! Seeing children learning, having fun, and smiling at me fuels my drive and passion of being a nanny. I have my own project called “Operation Christmas Smiles” where I buy toys and stuffed animals every Christmas season, go to children's hospitals and give out toys and candy to the kids. I believe I’d make a great nanny for your family because I don’t see this as a job, I see this as an opportunity to be a provider for a family, introduce my interests with you, and have you introduce me to yours! This is why I’m thrilled and excited to hopefully work for you! I’m always ready to learn and be on the go!
