Profile I first found my love for child care at kinderland daycare in woodland, i worked there for a year and quit due to all the covid extremities. At the daycare I was on a ratio of 10-1 meaning 10 kids per 1 teacher. My duties at the daycare vary from diaper changes, circle time (abc’s & counting), physical activity, nap time and much more. I recently transferred into behavioral therapy! Very similar to my daycare job, just a bit more professional. I worked with aba therapy. Basically implementing greetings to peers or adults, sentence shaping/framing, functional communication training etc. When I’m with kids, it doesn’t feel like work. I find it fun, to create new bonds, teach education or daily life tasks. I make learning fun rather than a chore and playtime is the best time! Whether it’s paw patrol tag or “cooking” ice cream in a play-pretend kitchen, i do it all :)))
I’ve had a cbt license for 4 months now! (Certified behavioral tech)
