Hi, I'm Emily! I am 25 and am an Early Child Edu student with a 3.9 GPA at SVSU. I also have an associates in Elementary Education from HFCC and will finish my degree at Saginaw Valley over the next two years. I have experience with children ages 4m-10 years and am good with both boys, girls and siblings. I have a background in art and emphasize creativity and learning through play over TV and tablets. I have lots of experience dealing with online learning and have become very adapt at trouble shooting it and working through the problems. Over the past 5 years I have gained much experience working as a nanny, babysitter, and tutor/education facilitator for several families as well as having experiences working in elementary schools and daycares. I am CPR/First Aid certified for babies, kids, and adults, am more than comfortable with pets of all kinds, have my own car and am a non smoker. I try to make sure that despite children's differences in age, gender, and interests, that every child has fun and feels like their voice has been heard and that they are cared for and listened too. I try to handle problems that arise with a cool, yet steady, and authoritative hand. I love kids of all ages and have so much fun teaching and introducing them to new and exciting things!
