Profile I’ve been a certified nursing assistant and working for local elderly homes for 3 years now. I was certified my senior year in High school, as I planned to attend college for nursing in pediatrics. I’ve always been a caring figure in my household as I tend to cares for our house and family. The year of my certification, I became my mothers at home caregiver through the state once she was diagnosed with colon cancer (Of which she now is free of (:). Throughout working from home with her through the years, I’ve assisted with caring for my younger siblings and cousins; as I have helped care for them ever since being a child myself. I enjoy working with kids, and building connections along with teaching the kids new things, experiences, and watching them grow and learn! As I am now an attending UWGB for nursing I will actively be perusing my education and career in pediatric nursing fall 2022! Caring for the little ones helps me to continue my care duties for the ones in need; except in this time it’s for the kiddos!
