I have always had a passion for children and childcare, beginning babysitting at 12 and never stopping. I have worked in professional childcare settings as well as in homes over those 10 years, and find pros and cons in both! During 2020 and 2021 I was a foster parent to two boys, and loved every second of it. When I care for children I make learning fun and put a lot of focus on independence and milestone related achievements with Montessori-style activities and toys. I also enjoy taking children out into nature or to zoos, museums, and aquariums- I find taking them up close inspires a passion for learning about the subject! I love kids, always have, and have experience ranging from newborn to teen years and with neurodivergent and medically fragile children.
