Profile Spending time with children is second nature for me. I started babysitting my neighbor's kids when I was 11. I've gained 9 years of differing experience since. I've been a nanny for a 10-month-old and, separately, a 2-year-old. I've babysat for children of every age between 5 weeks and 11 years. Not only do kids spark my creativity and enthusiasm while I'm around them, but they inspire me to bring that energy into every aspect of my life. I was a counselor at an overnight camp for three summers. During this experience, I learned to have an abundance of patience, even in seemingly trivial situations. I was responsible for six different cabins of around 12 campers. My youngest were 8-year-olds and my oldest were 15-year-olds. Regardless of the difference gap, both these groups impacted the way I view my life and the rest of the world.
