Program
At Uptown Children’s Academy, we recognize that every child is born with unique characteristics that shape their individual personality and learning style. Because children grow and learn at different paces, our teachers continually observe and support each child’s development—physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially—understanding that growth isn’t always equal in all areas.
Our program emphasizes acceptance, encouragement, and a love of learning. We celebrate each child’s individuality, curiosity, and willingness to explore, understanding that success often comes through trial and error. We also value every child’s cultural and linguistic background, encouraging pride in both their heritage and their ability to thrive in the broader community.
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and currently have availability for children ages 2–5 years old. Tuition is customized based on each family’s individual hours of care needed.
Teachers
I’m passionate about childcare and have more than 30 years of experience teaching and nurturing young children. Throughout my career, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding every stage of child development—from infancy through preschool—so that each child in my care receives the individualized support they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
With professional experience and certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Early Childhood Education, I design developmentally appropriate activities that spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence. My background includes years of hands-on classroom experience, curriculum planning, and child development training focused on emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth. I believe that a strong early foundation builds a love for learning that lasts a lifetime, and I take great pride in creating a warm, engaging, and structured environment where every child feels valued and capable.

Uptown Children’s Academy is a group-home preschool that cultivates curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning in a secure, nurturing environment. We strive to make every day feel like a second home for your little one—a place where they are safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. For your convenience and safety, our facility offers private driveway parking for easy drop-off and pick-up.
Each classroom is thoughtfully arranged to inspire hands-on learning, independence, and curiosity through play-based and sensory-rich experiences. Our dedicated teachers build strong, caring relationships with every child, guiding them with patience, encouragement, and understanding. At Uptown Children’s Academy, we believe that when children feel loved, accepted, and supported, they develop the confidence to try new things, express their ideas, and discover the joy of learning every single day.
