Peggy's Child Care & Preschool helps children learn and develop by providing a safe, nurturing and loving environmnt with a semi-structured day plan. Our day will include: * structured learning * group time: calendar, stories, music, singing, instruments, Alphabet & number recognition * Free time: child choosing their activity * Large muscle activities: outdoor * Find muscle activities/individual learning: writing, learning to zip, use scissors, hold pencils, tie shoes etc. * Art and crafts activities.I use the Funshine Express curriculum and Creative Curriculum for Family Childcare to plan for and support children's early learning in my program.My progam is unique. I believe that each child is unique and I recognize that each child has natural gifts and I will encourage each child to develop and actively use them. I will allow children to express their own opinion which will help them to learn that what they think matters. Life skills will be taught and encouraged: manners, personal hygiene and treating everyone with kindness and respect.
