Miss Allie's Playhouse embraces a developmental approach and play-based philosophy in working with young children. I believe children are natural learners that acquire knowledge in the process of their own developmental maturation. As children grow older, they acquire new skills and experiences that facilitate the learning process. For example, as children grow physically, they are more able to manipulate and explore their own environment. I strive to provide an environment that offers materials, equipment, space, time, that allow children to organize their ideas, feelings, and fantasies into a plan for play. Through play, children explore and manipulate ideas and relationships without doubt about their own skills, and become experts in problem solving, self-control, and citizenship skills that will assure their success in life.We use Carols Curriculum to plan for and support the early learning and development of children in our program. My approach is to assist children in strengthening their child development & stimulate their interest in learning., set goals & encourage kids to learn, play & be creative while providing practical ideas, projects to help each child reach their highest potential. I am a small home based daycare that is committed to school readiness through play based learning. by using best practices in child assessment & make instructions individualized by providing a stimulating music rich, language rich fun environment & working closely with each child. This includes home cooked meals & lots of active play both indoor and outside for physical development.

Golovko Alexandra Ann offers safe, loving childcare in the Saint Paul area. Kids learn through curriculum-based, educational activities. The facility is a home daycare providing a safe, nurturing space where kids learn important social skills. This provider offers childcare programs for children 3 years of age.
