Welcome to Washington Family CDH! We offer childcare for families looking to provide their child with a loving and kind environment that’s just like home. At our home daycare, our goal is to help children learn important social, emotional, and behavioral skills that prepare them for a successful and happy future. We offer an environment that advances curiosity and inquisitiveness through Montessori Inspired, Waldorf Inspired, and Developmental Play-based activities. Our daycare operating hours are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and are open M - F. At our daycare, we provide a culturally diverse learning environment by offering programs in Spanish. A safe, nurturing, and flexible childcare option! Both my children have attended Washington Family Child Development Home with Paola and Mario. It's a child's paradise with toys galore and lots of green space outside to run around, and I love that it's a small group of around 6...Read more kids ranging in age from 6 months (or less) to about preK. It makes for a real sibling-feel for the kids who are learning and growing together. This home daycare does an amazing job meeting each kid where they're at. They do lots of activities that foster their creativity and development, but it never in any way feels overly academic (it's all about play!) In addition to education and affection, Paola provides the most amazing meals and nutritious snacks. Highly recommended as a home away from home for young children in DC!

Location

Washington Family CDH is a home daycare created to spark creativity and learning in a clean space. We also have dedicated areas for learning and activities that include a nap room, an art area, and a reading area.

Our Washington daycare is located in a family-oriented neighborhood with a park, an elementary school, and a middle school. We're also only a few blocks from street parking.
