Lori Monroe's Daycare

I have been doing daycare for 26 years. We provide a loving, friendly, fun environment for your child. Our goals are for your child to have a positive self-image, acquire a thirst for knowledge, and to acquire independence. The daycare is located in a country setting, only a mile from town. We participate in the Child Care Choices food program. We serve alot of homemade food. We use the Funsteps Preschool Program. We concentrate on a "weekly" number and letter. The current season, lots of fun stories and songs, and fun mini-units. We spend alot of time outside, when it is nice. There is a fenced-in backyard with a swingset, sandbox, multiple climbing structures and playhouses. There is also a tarred area for ride-on toys, bikes, chalk, basketball, etc.. Inside, I have a separate daycare area downstairs. I also have a pool. We swim during the summer. I have a helper every day in the summer, and 3 days a week during the school year.
