I engage everyday with my children and parents to promote school readiness thru activities in our daily schedule. Children love to learn during circle time, storytime, art, singing, science. Its amazing that these young children learn from each other. We use the Creative Curriculum for Family childcare to plan for and support the early learning and development of children in our program. Children learn in a environment they feel comfortable and safe. I have a very large play area for all ages. Summer time the children enjoy help plant the garden and flower beds. When harvest is ready they wait patiently as the peas & beans are ready to pick. Carrots & potatoes to dig and help prepare for a meal. When they participate in these activities everything taste much better.
