Using my life and Family values of treating others as you want to be treated has helped me have an environment that is loving, caring, and based on respect, and friendship. Allowing each child to feel safe and loved is my goal each day. Understanding each child for who they are and how they learn makes they feel important and valued. Celebrate each milestone, Holiday and birthday brings fun into play. Teaching by play and hands on helps each child grow into who they are and who they want to be. I teach love, being caring in role play, my curriculum, and in open play. I teach respect and friendship in case scenario's through my curriculum. Being hands on with each child during crafts, writing, reading science helps each child with fine motor and gross motor skills. Celebrating Holidays and Birthdays from different cultures creates a positive perspective for each child and their families. I also help with milestones such as, kindergarten readiness, crawling, walking, talking and potty training.Teaching and shaping children for their lives is how we learn to be a better person not only to ourselves but to all others we encounter on day to day basis.
