Welcome to Crawford and Richard Family Daycare, we strive to create a safe and caring community of young explorers inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together. We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens. A team of experienced and innovative mother and daughter created a space driven by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it.

Crawford and Richard Family Daycare is ideal for families who are Third Shift Parents, Flight Attendants, Police Officers, Doctors, Nurses, CNA’s, Film industry, etc. We provide overnight care and transportation for overnight care from the Westside, Santa Monica, West LA, Westwood, and most Beach cities.

Teachers

Years of experience working with children and families has given me the foundational skill set to provide full-time care. For the past 25 years, I was a daycares coordinator for the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC). I helped providers start a daycare and making sure they all the appropriate paperwork. I am currently an Ambassador of National of the Education Of Young Children ( NEAYC); I specialize in visitation and monitoring parents who are currently in family court. Lastly, after I got my Bachelor's Degree in Social Worker (BSW), I joined the Navy and served my country for 9.5 years.

We have two other shifts from 5:30pm to 10:30pm and 10:30pm to 5:30am. Please inquire within.

We also offer transportation to most beach cities such as Santa Monica, West LA & Westwood

Location

Crawford and Richar Family Daycare consist of a cozy interior space and a spacious yard; both are carefully prepared to accommodate children of all ages. We've carefully designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Children will have some outdoor time every day at a community center. Connecting with nature lets children gain a more in-depth knowledge of themselves and the world.
