At Gifted Little Hands PlaySchool, we provide a safe, loving, and fun environment where children can learn, grow, and explore. Our program encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence through hands-on activities and play.
Children enjoy circle time, arts and crafts, early learning, sensory play, music and movement, outdoor play, and age-appropriate educational activities. We focus on building social skills, independence, and a love for learning while supporting each child’s individual growth.

Location Calhoun, Rashunda is a home daycare that offers childcare for families in Emeryville/Oakland and the surrounding Oakland area. Our goal is to build strong partnerships with families while creating a warm, inclusive community where every child feels valued, respected, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Hello! My name is RaShunda Calhoun, and I am the owner and educator of Gifted Little Hands PlaySchool. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development, a Site Supervisor Permit, CPR certification, and years of experience working with children in early childhood education.
I am passionate about creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where every child feels valued and supported. I believe children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. My goal is to help each child build confidence, develop important life skills, and foster a lifelong love of learning while partnering with families every step of the way.
It is a privilege to be a part of each child’s early learning journey, and I look forward to helping your child learn, grow, and thrive.
