Hi, my name is kendrah platow and I am the owner of Bright Beginnings Daycare. This year we have switched to being a play based childcare. What does that mean exactly? I am sure you are thinking it means to just let the kids play all day, and you are right! But while they are playing I am interacting with them and asking them questions about what they are playing with to start a conversation that can lead to talking about colors, numbers, shapes, etc. We are also letting the children guide us to what they want to learn about.
